Luke 3:14

If you are not content; you will steal.

Shirk your work.

Poor quality work.

Even striving to be rich in the word is bad.

When we are weak, we go outside of ourselves into Christ and his grace.
Philippians 4:11-13
Learned to be content.

This is a process, not an act.
a.
When Paul had only a little he was satisfied with it.
b.
When Paul had much he still was as dependent upon God as when he had only
a little.
I know how to be abased and I know how to abound.

Here we see the special grace of God active in Paul's life.
a.
When we are afflicted, and we have learned to be content, we can be abased,
hungry, and in want without being overcome by the temptation to distrust
God or to try to provide for ourselves.
b.
When we are prosperous, and we have learned to be content, we can be prospered
without being proud or secure in ourselves.
2.
The temptations of plenty are as powerful as those of want.
Now, having learned and knowing, I can do all things through Christ which
strengtheneth me.
