Our Real Faith in God’s Word
We Believe in Jesus
We tell people how Jesus came into our lives and changed us.
John 3:16
We Believe in His Shed Blood
We tell people the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin.
1 John 1:7
We Pretend to Believe That The Rest of The Bible is True Also
We pretend that God really heals people.

But we do not lay hands on the sick.

We have a list of reasons why he does not heal people.
We pretend that since God is for us nothing can prevail against us.

But we worry about every little adversity and trial.
The doctor report causes worry.
Worry about paying the bills.
We pretend that if we do what the Bible says it will change the lives of
people.

But we find excuses why we do not have to do what Scripture says.
I do not have to tell people about Jesus because I am not an evangelist.
I do not have to teach people about the Bible because I am not a pastor.

We do not take a stand for righteousness.
It is just legalism to insist people walk the straight and narrow.

We do not insist that Scripture be enforced.
Well, that is the way they believe, and that is OK.

What we Are Really Telling The World
We Can Change The Word of God
If you do not like to do what Scripture says you can cut your own deal
with God.

God will let you avoid persecution.
It will not do anyone any good to turn people against me.

God will let you live life your way.

The Word of God Does Not Really Work The Way God Says
I am not going to insist that you give ear to scripture because I do not
believe it will do anything but break up our friendship.
I do not believe the word of God will change them.
I know it is the truth, but I tried it and it did not work, so it must
not be for me.
It is Foolish to Live by The Entire Bible
You do not have to do the parts that are obviously going to bring pain
and loss into your life.

You do not have to leave your church just because they do not believe the
Bible is all true and God inspired.
You do not have to do the parts that will make you look bad to your friends
and family.

You do not have to tell them that you know for a fact that the gifts of
the Holy Spirit did not pass away with the last of the apostles.
As long as you say you believe in Jesus, God will perfect you.
