What is The Carnal Mind?
Because
the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither
indeed can be. Romans 8:7
How
Does The Carnal Mind Operate?
James 1:5-8
(Amplified) Double mindedness always has 2 confessions:
- I will believe God and do what the Word says
- Only after my senses have been gratified or satisfied!
The carnal mind is companion to the
recreated human spirit, but there is no fellowship between the two because: the carnal
mind has not been renewed by the word.

double mindedness 1 Kings 18:21
FLESH should be sense, or: here human
nature, the earthly nature of man apart from divine influence, and therefore prone to sin
and opposed to God?
The Carnal Mind
1.
Prays for faith, but never arrives.
2.
Talks unbelief. . .struggles for faith.
3.
Confesses failure and faith at the same time.
Our Daily War
is With The Carnal Mind:
The sense ruled mind.
The mind
educated and trained by the five physical senses!
The carnal
mind says, “I want what I see.” So I can taste it. . .smell it . . .feel
it.

Our minds are not renewed by studying the
Word! We must also act on the Word!

For Our Bodies!
Our bodies
are doomed to die!
Why does God
show so much interest in our bodies? Because…
Our mind and
our spirit are both greatly influenced by the habits and patterns of our physical bodies!
Jewish
Sacrifices Were Dead!
Paul asks
that ours be a living sacrifice.

The body is
not wrong of itself!
There is no
evil in your flesh!
You submit
to practices that are wrong!
