3 By observe, we also mean remember or call to mind the former manifestations of God . However, there is a danger here in that we have a tendency to make the manifestations of God a law unto themselves. Thus, when God moves in a certain way, in a given situation, we expect him to move the same way again. Rather than relying upon the manifestations of God in this way, we should simply trust in God’s ability to move on our behalf and leave the particulars to him. |
