Introduction

From time to time a national or world event or personality will arise which requires comment. Previously this has been a very sporadic undertaking, leaving too many events uncommented upon. We are determined to be more diligent in bringing you timely and pertinent editorials on current events. We make this commitment for two reasons:

• Secular news and editorials rarely (if ever) address the spiritual side of events. The secular view is motivated either to acquiesce to public opinion, or to change it. Our perspective attempts to shine the light of the gospel on events or persons we choose to editorialize.
  
• It is the responsible and mature thing to do.

In addition to our commitment to provide more editorials, we are also giving you the opportunity to request an editorial on an event or individual. Initially we will probably be able to accommodate all requests. But as the number of requests increases, we will have to be more selective. In any event, your request will be acknowledged via email.
