This is not Israel; it is Rome.

MYSTERY
Greek, musterion (moos-tay-ree-on); from a derivative of mou (to shut the mouth): a secret
(through the idea of
silence imposed by initiation into religious rites). This indicates that unless you know
the mystery or secret, you are
excluded.
Revelation 13:16-18 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and
bond, to receive a mark
in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he
that had the mark, or the
name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath
understanding count the
number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred
threescore and six.
BABYLON THE GREAT
Babylon was the religious and political capital of Babylonia.
MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH
Literal Greek reads:
`the mother of the harlots and of the abominations of the earth.'
1. MYSTERY: There will be a mark associated with members.
2. BABYLON THE GREAT: This religion will have a capital city.
3. MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH: It will have control over every church
and
denomination on earth (do not forget the Body of Christ has been raptured).
In Rome, the prostitutes in the public whorehouses wore a frontlet on their forehead
bearing their name.

The same idea is found in Revelation 13:18, here is wisdom.
Wisdom: both worldly and spiritual.
This may be an indication that mere worldly knowledge will be able to foretell the coming
of the kingdom of the
beast.
Those who are wise in the wisdom of God will definitely know when the empire of the beast
is about to be
established.
The seven hills are the seven hills of Rome.

Daniel 7:7-8, 24 After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast,

the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten
horns. I considered the
horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were
three of the first
horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man,
and a mouth
speaking great things. And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall
arise: and another shall
rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.

V. 13-14
The antichrist will attack the harlot and destroy her. Then the new Roman Empire will
attack Jesus Christ.
